Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 2026

Welcome to Colloc. By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. User Content and Responsibility

Colloc allows users to write, publish, and share content. You retain ownership of your content, but you are solely responsible for everything you post. By posting content, you represent that you have the right to do so and that your writings do not violate any third-party rights, including copyrights or privacy rights.

2. Acceptable Use and Community Guidelines

You agree not to use Colloc to create or share content that:

  • Violates any applicable local, national, or international laws.
  • Promotes hate speech, violence, discrimination, or illegal acts.
  • Is defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, or highly offensive to general social codes.
  • Contains spam, unauthorized advertising, or malicious software.

3. User Safety, Reporting, and Moderation

Colloc is designed to be a safe platform. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

  • Reporting & Blocking: You may flag objectionable content or report abusive users at any time using the in-app reporting tools. You also have the ability to block any user to prevent them from interacting with you.
  • Moderation & Response: Objectionable content is removed promptly — it is hidden automatically when flagged by our systems or by multiple users.
  • Suspension & Termination: We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to hide, edit, or delete any content, and to warn, suspend, or permanently terminate any account that violates these terms, breaches social codes, or disrupts the platform. Content from a suspended or terminated account may be hidden from others.
  • Appeals: If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you may appeal by emailing support@colloc.app.
  • Illegal Content: We may preserve and report illegal content — including child sexual abuse material — to law enforcement or child-protection organizations, which may be located outside your country.

4. Limitation of Liability

Colloc is provided on an "as-is" basis. We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or reliability of any user-generated content. We shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of the platform.

5. Governing Law

Colloc is operated from South Korea. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal actions must be brought in the courts located in South Korea.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the application after changes implies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
